AACSB

The University Antwerp has obtained the prestigious accreditation of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for its management programmes in the faculty of Applied Economical Sciences and at Antwerp Management School. The University Antwerp is the first Belgian university to acquire this accreditation.

With some 568 accredited member (of whom about 107 outside of the US), AACSB is the oldest (1916) and most authoritative accreditation organization in the world.

Benchmarking will become an important matter in the future European and international educational scene. Comparative studies based on standard indexes will become the criterion for universities to decide whether they want to cooperate with other institutes. Universities and management schools with an AACSB accreditation in international teams are automatically a privileged partner.

With the AACSB label Antwerp Management School has obtained an authoritative, international quality stamp for its programmes.

NVAO

The Antwerp Management School master trainings have been accredited by the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO) on the basis of the AACSB- accreditation. With this NVAO acknowledgment on the basis of an already acquired international accreditation, the University Antwerp is a firstling among the Belgian universities.
