Biography

Since the end of 2010 Koen is responsible and ambassador for The Future Leadership Initiative of Antwerp Management School. This competence center about leadership and in partnership with KBC and Kaleido Consulting researches and develops the leadership that people and organizations need to meet the challenges of the future.

Koen develops leadership in the junior master's programs, in the Master Class Leadership for Middle Management and facilitates the Seasonal Leadership Dialogues. In addition, he designs leadership and development tracks in the other master classes and in customer specific programs. 

He also conducts research on the development of transformational leadership, through interviews and case studies. Koen is author of the “19 Challenging thoughts about leadership" and is an active blogger. On the blog of TFLI you can find the results of all studies and reflections.

Koen is psychologist by education and obtained his master degree at KU Leuven. He is also trained as communication- & system therapist. He has 20 years experience in Human Resources Management, the last 10 years in international context. His experience in the realization of complex changes and developing talent brought him to the topic of leadership.
