Friday January the 13th, all nominees presented their thesis. Xing Han came out as the winner of this contest, in which each participant questions an important mechanism, proposes refreshing perspectives and possibilities for innovation.
Xing Han, currently PhD student at the Ghent University, found his inspiration in the investment industry: financial security, risk analysis and craving for return. Xing Han presented a forecasting mechanism for investors. Xing Han shows that based on existing models , the volatility of stock trading volumes can be predicted. This is of priceless value for investors.
At the ceremony, last Friday, the winner received a banking account at the value of 2500 Euros. With this contest, the bank provides young talent the possibility to expose their new insights toward the finance industry.
