ITAG OnderzoeksProjecten

Het ITAG onderzoekscentrum heeft momenteel onderzoek lopen in de volgende domeinen:

• PhD research on Value Management
  Research project (Jan. 2010 - Jan. 2014) that will result in PhD thesis, working on the use of value management practices in achieving more business value from IT enabled investments.
  

• The Enterprise Benefits of good IT Governance practices
  Research Project (Sept 2007 – Sept 2009) funded by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) on how business value is created from applying IT governance practices such as COBIT and Val IT

• Developing IT Governance Frameworks CobiT, Val IT and RiskIT
  Research project (Nov. 2001 - Dec. 2009) funded by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), focusing on the continuous development of the frameworks CobiT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies), Val IT and RiskIT and its relationship towards IT Governanc.

• IT Governance in Corporate Environments
  Research project (Jan. 2004 - Dec. 2004) funded by Microsoft Belgium, concentrating on experiences and lessons learned from IT Governance implementations in corporate environments

• PhD research on IT Governance
  Research project (May 2002 - May 2007) that will result in PhD thesis, working on the development of an IT Governance framework of structures, processes and mechanisms

• Linking business goals - IT goals - CobiT processes
  Research project (Jan. 2004 - April 2004) for the IT Governance Institute, to develop more insight in the link between business goals, IT goals and CobiT processes. Eight different industries will be analysed, and the results will be used as input to better align CobiT with IT governance.

• IT Governance Domains
  Research project (Oct. 2004 - Febr.2005) for the IT Governance Institute, in which briefing papers will be developed in the five IT Governance domains (alignment, value delivery, resource management, risk management, performance management). The input of the ITAG Research Institute mostly focuses on IT Performance Management.
