Alain Guiette holds a PhD in Applied Economic Sciences (UA, 2015) on the topic of sensemaking of organizational change processes and is teaching the following courses: “Introduction to Management” (James Madison University, USA), “Joint International Internship seminar” (Goa Institute of Management, India), “Change Management” (Symbiosis University, Pune, India), “Management & Organization” (Antwerp Management School), “Organization Theory and Design”, “Organization and Management: theory and cases” and “Management” at the University of Antwerp. His research has been published in the European Management Journal, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Research in Competence-based Management, Management Learning, and Scandinavian Journal of Management, among others. Prior to re-joining the academic community, Alain worked 10 years in consultancy, of which 4 at Deloitte and 6 at McKinsey & Company. His research interests include organization theory, organizational sensemaking, interpretive phenomenology, organizational change, critical management studies, process philosophy, and mindfulness.
