Seth Maenen is an organizational sociologist (PhD) but prefers to call himself a general organizational scientist, after the multidisciplinary field inspired by psychology, economics and engineering.

Until 2021 he led the center of expertise for organizational design Workitects, a KU Leuven spin-off formerly known as Flanders Synergy. Seth has coached over 70 change projects in both large and small organizations. He focuses on the development of well-researched and (where possible) data-driven interventions.

In 2018, he published the book ‘Van Babel tot ontwerp. Concepten en methoden voor organisatieontwikkeling’. In 2023 his second book on organizational development will be released.

Beyond the buzzword: efficient and participatory organizational design
