AMS once again rises in the Financial Times Executive MBA ranking

Antwerp Management School is once again included in the Financial Times Worldwide Top 100 Ranking for Executive MBAs and takes a great leap forward. Rising nine places, AMS is now number 80 worldwide and belongs to the top 30 of best EMBAs in Europe.

The Executive MBA program (EMBA) of Antwerp Management School mainly distinguishes itself from other EMBA programs thanks to its far-reaching globalization. This translates into a strong combination of international lecturers, as well as students and board members.

The international focus of the different program sections is what was rated most positively by the alumni who were questioned for this ranking. During the program, participants also take several modules at the Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou, China and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. Moreover, they complete these foreign trajectories together with participants of the EMBA program that AMS organizes in partnership with the Institute of Business Studies in Moscow.

Analyzing the ranking in detail, it is noteworthy that AMS has a strong representation of female lecturers compared to other schools in this ranking. Another aspect in which AMS’ EMBA excels, is the degree to which alumni find that the program lived up to the goals they had at the start.

The Executive MBA program at AMS is intensive but balanced, and clearly structured in different blocks spread over two academic years. Experience has taught us that the optimal planning in combination with work and family consists of one-day modules on Fridays and Saturdays, every three weeks.

During the training program, participants also take part in modules at the Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou, China, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, US, aside from their trajectory in Antwerp. In these modules they work and study together with the IBS RANEPA cohort in Moscow.
