Antwerp Management now also in the Financial Times Executive Education Ranking

On May 15th 2017, the Financial Times (FT) published their annual Executive Education ranking. This was the first time Antwerp Management School (AMS) appeared in the rankings. The school is now able to count itself in the top 85 executive education establishments worldwide.

There are two aspects to the 2017 FT Executive Education ranking. On one hand, the ranking covers the top 85 schools based on their customized executive education programs ( courses tailored to the training needs of commissioning organizations from the profit and non-profit sectors). On the other hand, the FT publishes the 75 best schools with open-enrollment programs. Those are executive programs in an open offer which don’t lead to a master’s degree. The rankings are mainly based on the satisfaction level of corporate clients and individual participants. The school’s profit growth, their international scope and their lecturers are also taken into account.

Prof. Dr. Paul Matthyssens, Dean of AMS: “For AMS this is without a doubt a wonderful performance, particularly because the school is only participating with its tailored programs and immediately obtained the 83rd place. In a highly competitive and international market, we’re very proud of our result as a boutique business school. We want to thank our clients who expressed their confidence in us. They demonstrate that we really do offer programs tailored to their needs.”

Rick Groetelaers, Business Unit Manager Tailored Solutions: “We will focus even more on our social relevance. With our personal approach, we prioritise our clients, who currently face complex challenges, and we develop a course tailored to their needs. We then address the organization, specific teams, and individual team members. At each level, we create a positive impact on the change trajectory of companies and organizations.”
