We are living in very strange times. In the past couple of weeks all of our lives have been turned completely upside down. Up to even a month ago nobody could have ever imagined that our world could change so radically and so swiftly.
In 2017, with the support of BASF Antwerp, Port of Antwerp and Randstad Belgium, AMS launched the very first Chair in Sustainable Transformation worldwide. Dr. Wayne Visser, international expert in sustainability, was appointed as chairholder. In 2020 the partnership can look back on a fruitful cooperation. So much so, that they have decided to join forces for another three years, in order to further promote sustainable transformation by awareness raising, research and co-creation.
We are very proud that our new website has won the "Silver in Multimedia / Website Design" at the International Design Awards!
AMS and the University of Antwerp join forces in an international Center of Excellence on transport and logistics
The transport and logistics industry is under increasing pressure to provide sustainable solutions to global challenges such as climate change. To meet this demand, the industry can now rely upon the joint Center of Excellence of Antwerp Management School (AMS) and the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Antwerp. More than ever before, Antwerp will thus become the hub of top-notch academic research and future-proof master's programs on supply chain, transport and logistics.
The new rating “Positive Impact Rating for Business Schools” (PIR) is a clear indication that preparing young people for a successful career has taken on a broader meaning. Business schools are now also expected to have a positive impact on the world. Given its baseline “Opening minds to impact the world”, Antwerp Management School (AMS) has already long understood this. And it is now officially confirmed by the results of PIR, which were announced today at the World Economic Forum in Davos: AMS is one of the three European business schools that are ranked as “transforming schools”.
