We asked Inna Stelmakh about her experience with AMS’ teaching about innovation and entrepreneurship.
Inna Stelmakh: Bart Clarysse (professor in entrepreneurship) uses an interactive and lively teaching approach, enriched by real-life instances and case studies. He demonstrates how entrepreneurship can draw inspiration from the corporate domain and how these two worlds can harmonize. Bart’s seminars have persuaded me about the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in corporate business, which I consistently integrate into my professional evolution.
What is your view on innovation and entrepreneurship now? Why?
Inna Stelmakh: After Bart Clarysse's teachings I see innovation and entrepreneurship as not just concepts, but as dynamic processes that require a holistic and adaptive approach. Innovation is not limited to groundbreaking ideas; it involves fostering a culture that embraces creativity and change. Entrepreneurship, on the other hand, is about seizing opportunities with calculated risk-taking. This understanding has empowered me to navigate complex business landscapes and drive meaningful growth.
About the Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Zurich for our MBA students. What do you think our MBA participants will take away?
Inna Stelmakh: Based on my enriching experience during the Entrepreneurship and Innovations course in Paris, I believe our MBA participants attending the upcoming seminar in Zurich will gain a profound understanding of the vital role innovation and entrepreneurship play in today's competitive business world.
