VIL and Antwerp Management School (AMS) are combining their expertise for the first time to better equip employees from companies with supply chain operations for tomorrow’s challenges. By merging academic insights with real-world experience, they will launch an exclusive Summer School and Master Class. This initiative kicks off in the summer of 2025 and will be extended based on positive evaluation.

A powerful blend of knowledge and practice
The collaboration between VIL and AMS brings together the best of two worlds: AMS’s strategic vision and academic excellence as a leading management school, and VIL’s hands-on business expertise as the spearhead cluster for logistics, with a proven track record in driving innovative corporate projects.

Responding to a rapidly changing world
The logistics sector faces mounting pressure. Digital transformation, workforce shortages, sustainability demands, and geopolitical uncertainty create increasingly complex challenges. Staying competitive requires continuous development.

Prof. Dr. Roel Gevaers, Academic Director of the Master Class and professor at AMS, explains: “This partnership enables us to offer programs that not only address today’s supply chain trends but also anticipate what’s coming next. Two programs with complementary focus
In 2025, VIL and AMS will launch two distinct programs under their collaboration:

• Summer School Strategic Supply Chains – Powered by AMS: taking place on August 27-28-29, 2025, at LogiVille. This three-day program, delivered in Dutch, focuses on Flemish companies and professionals.
• Master Class Supply Chain & Logistics – Powered by VIL: scheduled for November 12-13-14, 2025, at AMS. This three-day program will be delivered in English and welcomes both local and international participants.
