Looking back on the past two years at Antwerp Management School (AMS), I realize how transformative this experience has been. Not only in terms of knowledge, but also in how I think, act and grow as an architect. I started the program with a clear intention: to deepen my expertise in enterprise architecture through frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate. I was looking for more than theory. I sought a structured framework to guide transformation in complex environments. The program fully delivered on that promise. From the outset, I appreciated the combination of academic rigor and practical applicability. One of the key insights I gained early on was that architecture is not about complexity for its own sake, but about simplifying complexity to support decision-making. This shift, from merely describing systems to creating clarity, fundamentally changed how I work. The concept of the Complete Transaction Pattern (CTP) was a true mental breakthrough. It gave me the language and structure to understand how systems and organizations function, negotiate and resolve. Recognizing CTP in organizational patterns offered a new lens through which to view architecture as a leadership tool. In the third module, Agile EA & Engineering, we explored DEMO and Normalized Systems. These concepts were intellectually demanding, but by tackling them in the group assignment with peers from diverse backgrounds, I was able to internalize and apply them meaningfully. One of the most valuable aspects of the program was the cohort itself. My fellow students’ openness and critical thinking pushed me to think deeper. We were not competitors but co-creators, supporting each other through the most demanding phases. My thesis became more than an academic requirement; today it serves as a practical guide. It outlines clear deliverables and success criteria that I now apply to projects at Baloise, a personal compass balancing structure with pragmatism. The workload was considerable and impacted my personal life, requiring sacrifices. But with the support of my family, colleagues and faculty, I persevered. What made it possible was a strong intrinsic motivation, the belief that this journey was essential to my development as an architect. Today, I feel better equipped, more confident and more grounded in my role. I’ve learned that architecture is not about having all the answers, but about asking the right questions, making decisions transparent and guiding change without losing sight of people or systems. If I had to summarize this experience in one sentence: The program opened my mind to make an impact.

Admission procedure
Every year we only accept a limited amount of candidates. We advise you to start the noncommittal application process as soon as possible. There are the steps to take:
- Step 1: Start your application. Create a profile and fill in the non-binding online application form. Attach the requested documents.
- Step 2: We will send you a link to assess your analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Step 3:When the online test results are completed, you will be invited for a 30-minute admission interview, either in person or by video call. This interview is led by the Program Director and/or Academic Director and consists of a discussion about your ambition and motivation to complete the Executive Master.
- Step 4: Based upon a positive application dossier you will be offered a place in the program and If your candidacy is accepted, you will receive a link to finalize your enrollment.
Step 1 to 3 are free of charge and non-committal.
Finance & funding
The tuition fee for the 2025 – 2027 Executive Master in Digital Leadership & Transformation is € 31.500 (VAT exempt) for 2 academic years. (Prices are VAT-exempt)
Complete your registration before May 31st 2025 and receive an early bird discount of €1.750 on your full tuition fee.

- You can add this cost in your personal taxes as a professional cost.
- SME subsidy: Flemish SME’s get a discount between 20% and 30% granted by the Flemish Government.
- For Cyber Security related programs discounts up to 45% granted by the Flemish Government
- Dutch citizens benefit from a tax reduction based on the amount of the actual study cost.
- German residents can apply for a scholarship with Deutsche Bildung.
- This program is eligible for Flemish Educational Leave.
Studying part-time
The duration of the executive master is 1,5 years, and taken part-time. In-class sessions are organized every 3 to 4 weeks in blocks of 2 days, 11 times per academic year (not during school holidays).
- Thursday from 2 pm to 10 pm
- Friday from 9 am to 5 pm
A residential kick-off
We begin the program with an immersive two-day residential seminar, where you'll meet Prof. Dr. Steven De Haes, the Academic Director of the program, and the Dean of AMS. He’ll guide you through your learning journey, offering a detailed overview of what’s ahead. In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, you'll connect with your cohort, the group you'll share your time with at AMS. This is also a unique opportunity to network with faculty, as well as alumni, who will share their experiences and offer valuable insights and support.
