Antwerp Management School (AMS) is the postgraduate business school of the University of Antwerp. In partnership with the Faculty of Business and Economics, AMS offers advanced master’s programs and executive education for professionals and organizations.

Accreditations and rankings
Through the EQUIS accreditation of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Antwerp, AMS has joined a select group (1%) of business schools worldwide with three international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS), or a so-called “Triple Crown”.
AMS is also listed in the Financial Times Rankings and our master's programs are highly ranked in Eduniversal Rankings en QS World University Rankings.

Organization
Executive Dean
The strategic and operational management of Antwerp Management School is entrusted to the Executive Dean, supported by the Management Team.
Board of Directors and General Council
The Executive Dean sits on the AMS Board of Directors and the General Council. The Rector of the University of Antwerp chairs the General Council. The Board of Directors includes two representatives of the University of Antwerp, and many professors from the University of Antwerp teach at AMS.

Joint Strategy Committee
The Faculty and Antwerp Management School align their education and research strategy through a Joint Strategy Committee. The Joint Strategy Committee consists of: the Dean and Vice Dean for General Policy, the (Executive) Dean of AMS, the Faculty Director, and the accreditation managers of the Faculty and AMS.
International Advisory Board
Campus De Boogkeers
Our campus is located in the city center of Antwerp. The "Boogkeers" is an historical building that was completely renovated, a completely new part was added.
The open house philosophy, so typical for AMS, fully takes shape in this new building.
The renovated Boogkeers is a sustainable, socially responsible building with respect for its historic value.
The Boogkeers is situated at Mechelse plein and easy to reach.

Responsible Management Education
AMS became a signatory of PRME in 2012.
The Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) are inspired by internationally accepted values such as the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
The PRME are a global call for business schools and universities worldwide to gradually adapt their curricula, research,teaching methodologies and institutional strategies to the complex challenges and opportunities faced by business and society in the 21th century.
It is the ambition of AMS to incorporate these principles in core activities in research and education while leading by example, in line with our mission and vision.
The PRME principles help us to better respond to the demands of the business to integrate
environmental, social and governance issues and to meet the new needs and expectations of the business world on the one hand and the demands of a new generation of students with regard to sustainability and good corporate citizenship on the other.

History
Antwerp Management School is the University of Antwerp’s autonomous management school. The school was founded in 1959 as IPO (Institute for Postgraduate Education) and is nowadays an internationally renowned business school.
AMS fund
AMS has established a special fund to express its social responsibility as a business school.
The fund makes sure less wealthy Belgian students or students from less developed countries get the chance to obtain a master's degree.
More than 20 students from less developed countries all over the world have graduated with financial help from this fund. They are currently developing their business ideas in their home country.
