Open House on September 16th, get a taste of AMS
We invite you to join us at our Open House for experienced professionals on September 16th from 18:00 - 21:00, a unique opportunity to get an on-campus experience and decide if AMS is right for you. We plan an evening of inspiration and networking where you can learn more about our programs, network with other like-minded professionals, meet the Dean, Steven De Haes, faculty and the Program Directors.
Leading at the intersection of strategy and execution
As a “leader in the middle”, you are at the crucial intersection of strategy and execution. A rapidly evolving and challenging position. Where the focus used to be on strategy implementation, nowadays, no fewer than three roles have been added:
1. complementing and reinforcing the strategy with input from the work floor,
2. facilitating the adaptability of both teams and individuals, and
3. challenging and reshaping the strategy.
This shift brings a range of challenges: not only do you need to discover your unique role, but also balance different stakeholders and areas of tension, respond to strategic dynamics, make room for learning, etc.

This Master Class consists of 4 parts:
- Me as leader in the Middle – personal development track
Work on your own growth and development as a leader in the middle, facilitated by assignments and check-in moments. Only people in the middle can evaluate which position to take. It's their responsibility to write the plot of their leadership story. During the lift-off, you'll present your leadership journey and your lessons learned. - Actor of strategy
Drive strategy execution and renew it with fresh, internal insights. Creatively challenge and evolve strategies, using a strong connection to the organization's changing dynamics. - Facilitating adaptability
Embrace "ambidexterity" by balancing performance with innovation, nurturing a culture that values flexibility and learning. - Become politically skilled to enhance or reshape strategy from the bottom up.
