This Master Class consists of two modules. In the first module we focus on the fundamentals of Impact Reporting, in the second module on Decision-Making. You can register for either one module or both, depending on your interests and needs.

Module 1: The fundamentals of Impact Reporting
The strategic context of sustainability reporting
On day 1 you will learn about global trends in sustainability reporting (including the EU Taxonomy and the CSRD–the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and discover how to build valuable relationships with your stakeholders.
From data to dialogue
On day 2 you will identify and analyze the main focus points within your sustainability agenda. You will learn the practice of measuring, analyzing and reporting on ESG impact.
Module 2: The fundamentals of Decision-Making
Reporting for performance and control
A sustainability report is a good start, but how do you embed it within your organization? On day 3 we will discuss the tension between reporting and storybuilding. You will also learn how your report can reach a broader group of stakeholders.
Simulation & strategic integration
On day 4 we will focus on storytelling. How can you build a coherent and inspiring brand promise through sustainability? And how do you shift from transparent to honest and open communication?
Learning outcomes
After completing this course you will be able to:
- Recognize and interpret key trends in corporate reporting, transparency, and stakeholder communication
- Understand and apply the principles of new EU legislation (including CSRD and ESRS) to align reporting with strategic objectives
- Use communication as a catalyst for trust, engagement, and organizational alignment, translating complex data into meaningful stories
- Identify and navigate ethical challenges such as greenwashing and selective disclosure, ensuring integrity and credibility in communication
- Apply different communication modes for different stakeholders
- Integrate sustainability insights into decision-making and control systems, using data as a driver for performance and long-term value creation
- Balance trade-offs between financial, social, and environmental KPIs through informed, cross-functional decision-making
- Design a practical roadmap to strengthen your organization’s approach to reporting, communication, and control
