The Antwerp Management School has established a special fund to express its social responsibility as a business school. The AMS Fund aims to develop innovative and sustainable ways to stimulate entrepreneurial talent from less developed countries, to provide further education and development to these entrepreneurs, and to guide them in the realization of their goals.
The Antwerp Management School Fund for Sustainable and Innovative Entrepreneurship (AMS Fund) was created in 2010 at the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the School. Its purpose is to give talented recent graduates or young professionals from less developed countries the opportunity to obtain a Master’s degree at the Antwerp Management School. But this is only the first step. The students will be coached while developing their own business idea, which will contribute to the development of their local communities after they return to their home country. Antwerp Management School works together with Belgian companies and local organizations to guide the graduates towards a successful start of their own business initiative.
The AMS Fund is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation and has currently over 100 private and corporate donors. Their generous contributions ensure that the fellows receive financial support to complete their studies at Antwerp Management School and develop their business ideas afterwards. From 2011 to 2015 thirteen students from South Africa, Vietnam, India, Nigeria, Peru, Brazil, Rwanda and St. Kitts and Nevis received financial support as fellows of the AMS Fund. They graduated with a Masters degree from Antwerp Management School and are currently developing their business ideas in their home country.
You can contribute to our fund, and help create sustainable value in less developed countries, by making a donation. A donation of 40 euro or more is tax deductible.
