Trends Impact Awards celebrate sustainable entrepreneurship in Belgium
Tonight marked the fourth edition of the Trends Impact Awards, where thirteen companies were honored, among them Delhaize Le Lion and Revive, winners of the Trends Global Impact Award.
An initiative by Trends in collaboration with PwC Belgium and Antwerp Management School (AMS), the Trends Impact Awards recognize organizations that have successfully translated their sustainability strategies into concrete projects with a positive impact on people, planet, and society.
Five categories, eleven winners
More than sixty companies submitted applications for one of five categories, based on the methodology developed by Antwerp Management School.
Given the broad scope of the ESG and SDG objectives, no company can excel in every area, but many Belgian organizations stand out in one or more aspects of sustainability.

Reactions from the organisers
Stijn Fockedey, Editor-in-Chief of Trends & Trends Z:
“There are many initiatives around sustainability, but with the Trends Impact Awards we aim to be the most relevant, objective, and credible competition.
That’s why we work with two partners: (1) an academic partner to design the methodological framework, and (2) a consultant with expertise in reliable project evaluation.More than sixty applications, over fifty nominees who underwent rigorous jury interviews, and ultimately eleven winners — all making a difference for nature and society.
The winners and nominees are the best antidote to pessimism.”
Jochen Vincke, Partner at PwC Belgium:
“Embedding sustainability into your business today ensures your long-term future.
With the Trends Impact Awards, we highlight companies that embrace such long-term strategies.
The innovative solutions and strong commitment shown by Belgian businesses are inspiring.
The laureates demonstrate that sustainable solutions create value, even in challenging times.”
Prof. Jan Beyne, Academic Head of the Jury – Trends Impact Awards:
“Our role as academic partner is to provide an independent, scientifically grounded perspective.
We design the methodology that helps assess which initiatives have the greatest long-term potential, based on clear categories and objective criteria. As jury president, I was deeply impressed by the quality, diversity, and maturity of the submissions.
More and more projects go beyond the pilot phase, showing real systemic change, robust impact management, and infrastructure-level solutions. The Trends Impact Awards make it clear that sustainable transformation in Belgium is no longer a niche — it’s a structural movement towards long-term value and broad societal impact.”
