Kim De Meulenaere received her PhD from the University of Antwerp in December 2015. Between 2016 and 2020, she was a postdoctoral researcher and FWO postdoctoral fellow at KU Leuven (Labor and Organizational Sciences).

Kim is a tenure track assistant professor at the Department of Management at the University of Antwerp and at Antwerp Management School. Her research addresses the implications of changing workplace age demographics, organizational demographics, diversity and inclusion, employee turnover and compensation schemes on employee and firm outcomes.

She is a member of the "Next Generation Work" research team at AMS and she teaches HRM, organizational behavior, labor & policy at AMS and the University of Antwerp.
