Prof. dr. Sascha Albers is Professor of International and Strategic Management at the University of Antwerp and Antwerp Management School, Belgium. Since 2019, he has been the academic director Master in Global Management. His recent work explores alliance and network governance, ecosystem and bottleneck strategies, and organizational resilience in international business contexts.
Professor Albers’ work has been published in leading management journals such as Journal of Management, Organization Studies, and Long Range Planning. He currently serves as an editor of the European Management Review and as associate editor for the Journal of Air Transport Management.
A research fellow at the University of Cologne, he has been a visiting lecturer and invited presenter at universities and business schools in the Americas, Europe, and Oceania. He has worked with organizations such as AT Kearney, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Telekom, DHL, DKV Mobility Services, Lufthansa, and Siemens on issues of strategy formulation, alliance governance and internationalization strategy.
