- Has been involved as a project manager and researcher in research projects with various companies (SD Worx, Argenta, Janssen, NNOFCARE) and other stakeholders (e.g. Demographic Fund of the Chemistry Sector in Flanders, Tabor, Workitects, ESF Flanders, Flemish Governmental Department of Work)

Sara obtained her master's degree in Strategic Communication in 2011, and her PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Antwerp in 2016, in which she studied bystander behavior in cyberbullying with adolescents. She co-developed a prototype serious game for adolescent bystanders to learn how to deal with cyberbullying within the IWT-SBO project “Friendly ATTAC”.
She started working as a senior research in the team of “Next Generation Work” at Antwerp Management School in 2017, focusing on sustainable careers and sustainable work. At that time, she also taught the course “Interpersonal Communication” in the Bachelor's program of Communication Studies at the University of Antwerp.
In 2020-2021 she became the director of the Research & Valorization division of Antwerp Management School, after which she decided to return to research & teaching, with a renewed focus on interpersonal relations in organizations.
