Theo Notteboom

Prof. dr. Theo Notteboom is affiliated with the University of Antwerp as a part-time Professor at the Faculty of Business and Economics. Between 1993 and 2014, he consecutively held full-time positions at the same faculty first as research assistant, and later on as assistant professor, associate professor, and professor/academic dean of ITMMA (now the C-MAT master's program at Antwerp Management School).
He currently also holds academic positions at Ghent University and Antwerp Maritime Academy. In the past decade, he has worked at leading maritime universities in Dalian and Shanghai, China. He published widely on port and maritime economics.
At Antwerp Management School, he teaches in the Master in Maritime and Air Transport Management.
