Your career journey begins with exploration. We help you broaden your perspective and learn about opportunities across industries, roles, and career paths.

Through guest lectures, company visits, lunch-and-learns, sector nights, and in-company projects as part of your master’s program, you gain insight into professional environments and the work of industry practitioners. Case workshops and company challenges provide hands-on experience while helping you understand how organizations approach recruitment and selection.

Develop - Build the skills to get there

Once you have a clearer direction, we support you in developing the skills needed to move forward.

Career Skills Labs and one-to-one coaching are designed to strengthen career self-management and prepare you for recruitment processes. Guided by career experts, these sessions focus on practical skills and provide tools and resources to support your professional growth.

Dedicated support for international students

We recognize that building a career in Belgium can involve specific challenges for international students, including language requirements, visa procedures, and employer expectations. AMS provides support to help you navigate these aspects of the local job market.

Support includes Dutch language courses on campus, guidance on post-study visa options, and targeted events such as the International Mixer, Job Search Boot Camp, and alumni speed-dating sessions. Through guidance, resources, and networking opportunities, international students are supported in using their study experience as a foundation for pursuing career opportunities.
