Student Loans
For Belgian students
We advise to check with the Belgian banks (such as KBC, BNP Paribas Fortis, Argenta, and others) the financing options, and to look for the best rates related thereto amongst the banks. Often banks can offer students loans at beneficial conditions considering also their specific situation (ad hoc decisions by the bank).
For International students
We advise to check with the banks in your home country for the various financing possibilities, and to compare them for the best possible rates. Banks are often willing to grant a student loan to students who study abroad.
German students can apply for study loans online year-round through Deutsche Bildung. A one-time payment, annual, semi-annual or monthly payments guarantee a fully flexible financing plan of almost all courses and subjects in Germany and abroad.
Prodigy Finance Loans
AMS, as top business school and triple crown accredited, is recognized by Prodigy Finance for funding of our programs.
International students can contact Prodigy Finance for funding of all of our Master programs.
Funding from Prodigy can cover 100% of the tuition fee plus living expenses (minus any scholarship).
Brain Capital
BrainCapital is a financing house/method for full-time and part-time students, both international (EU) and local.
Students can apply directly via the website with their admission letter, transcripts, and resume and Braincapital will then schedule an online call to exchange more information (their financing system etc. If the application is approved, BrainCapital provides the funds to the student.
Students start paying back when the professional career starts.
Payments in installments
We advise students to check the financing options mentioned above first, but:
- Upon request and internal approval, AMS can in certain specific/exceptional circumstances propose a deferred payment scheme.
- In this case the tuition fee will be increased to cover for the financing and administration cost.
More information can be provided by your program manager or program coordinator.
Scholarships
For select students, a scholarship is awarded in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
The scholarship is awarded in the form of a tuition fee reduction, covering 25 to 50% of the tuition expenses depending on your profile. The scholarship amount will be deducted from the total tuition fee prior to the commencement of the academic year.
Although we aim to distribute scholarships fairly across different Full-Time Master's programs, in some cases, we may give priority to applicants from certain programs.
Scholarships for the Master in Maritime and Air Transport Management
We have several scholarships available for this master's program, which are granted to us by the Flemish Government's Foreign Affairs Department. These scholarships encompass a partial tuition fee reduction (approximately 9000 euros, with the exact amount pending confirmation, instead of the standard 19500 euros), along with living expenses for a duration of 10 months (approximately 1000 euros per month, with the exact amount pending confirmation). Essentially, the funds you pay for tuition will be reimbursed to you in the form of these living expenses.
The Boeing grant
For the 2026–2027 academic year, the University of Antwerp and Antwerp Management School are launching a scholarship for the Master in Maritime and Air Transport Management: Air Transport track. This is made possible by Boeing’s Global Engagement Program. The grant is meant for a Belgian student and will be covering over 60% of the tuition fee.
