Annick Schramme is a professor at the University of Antwerp and academic in charge of the master's program in Cultural Management at the University of Antwerp. Since 2018, she leads the international master Fashion Management and the Leadership in Culture program at the Antwerp Management School in collaboration with the University of Utrecht. She is also active in various boards and advisory councils in the broad cultural sector in Flanders and the Netherlands. For example, she has chaired the SARC (the Strategic Advisory Council on Culture, Youth, Sports and Media) of the Flemish government since 2020. In 2020, she set up a working group within the Cultural Management Fund of the University of Antwerp, which issued the Culture Good Governance Code. This is guiding the cultural sector in Flanders. Since 2024, she has also held the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Entrepreneurship and Policy.
