    Prof. Dr. Wouter Dewulf graduated as Master in Applied Economics (1992) and Business Engineering (1993) from the University of Antwerp. He continued his studies in Business Administration at the Université Catholique de Louvain (IAG) before starting his career at British Airways in London. He later worked for Sabena Technics and Van Gansewinkel, with responsibilities across Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg.

    In 2007, after an inspiring conversation with Prof. Eddy Van de Voorde, he began a PhD at the University of Antwerp, which he completed in 2014. His doctoral research focused on the strategic positioning of air cargo carriers.

    He is currently a professor at the University of Antwerp and AMS, where he also serves as Academic Director for the Master of Maritime/Air Transport Management. He teaches several courses, including Airline Management and Strategy, Airport Management and Strategy, Airline Marketing, Air Transport Economics and Finance, Transportation Strategies and Supply Chain Finance.

    His research focuses on air cargo, air transport strategy, cross-border e-commerce, and pharma logistics. He also teaches as a visiting professor at the University of Hasselt, Kedge Business School (France) and MIT (US). A list of his publications can be found here.
