• SME discount: as of September 13, 2021, there is a specific subsidy for cybersecurity programs. Flemish SME’s can apply for a subsidy between 35% and 45% granted by the Flemish Government*
• There is a similar subsidy for SME’s located in Brussels.
• Public and Social Profit sector: Belgian candidates from public and social profit organizations can contact the Program Director for special conditions.
• Dutch citizens benefit from a tax reduction based on the amount of the actual study cost.
• German citizens can apply for a scholarship with Deutsche Bildung.
• This program is eligible for Flemish Educational Leave.

*This increased support percentage only applies to applications with the theme of cybersecurity that were submitted from 13 September 2021. Applications submitted before September 13, 2021 will receive the previous percentage (30% or 20%).

How does a customer obtain an increased support rate?

The increased support rate is automatically applied to the cybersecurity theme.
In concrete terms, this means that in step 2 of the application, the customer selects the theme 'cybersecurity' in the drop-down list when indicating the theme (cf. page 10 of the SME portfolio manual: https://www.vlaio.be/nl/media/222).
