A central position in the industry
Our campus is just a few hours' drive from Europe's 4 largest airports - convenient for a visit! And our own country need not undercut, with an extensive ecosystem encompassing Brussels Airport and smaller airports shining a light on important niches, such as the smaller-scale transport chains, freight traffic from Liège, low-cost air travel from Charleroi and a thriving private jet business. Add to that the Brussels headquarters of some important governing bodies, like Eurocontrol and Airport Council International, and you will enjoy a huge diversity of experiences.
Guidance from sector professionals
Your future lecturers are all experienced professionals with a well-known name in aviation. So a phone call to an interesting guest speaker from the field is quickly arranged. Moreover, the industry likes to rely on our expertise to conduct research and scoop promising workforces from our annual supply of new aviation managers.
A purely international approach
“From the classroom, the world opens up.” That is how our alumni describe their experience of the master's program and the AMS campus as a whole. It is a main focus from the very beginning of the program, so that you are prepared for the multicultural environment you will find yourself in. Our horizon is the whole world. That's why we also take you across the border to discover how things work in foreign airports and aviation organizations. The series of lectures, visits and a trip to London will not only give you the chance to gain new experiences, but also to expand your network with new business contacts and - of course - friendships.
Support from the University of Antwerp's official knowledge center
