Seth Maenen is an organizational sociologist (PhD) but prefers to call himself a general organizational scientist, after the multidisciplinary field inspired by psychology, economics, and engineering.
Until 2021, Seth Maenen led the Center of Expertise for Organizational Design Workitects, a KU Leuven spin-off formerly known as Flanders Synergy. Over the years, he has guided more than 120 change projects in both large and small organizations, with a strong focus on designing well-researched and data-informed interventions that create lasting impact.In 2018, he published his first book Van Babel tot ontwerp. Concepten en methoden voor organisatieontwikkeling. His second book on organizational development is planned for release in 2026.
Today, Seth is the founder and managing partner of Torgo, where he works with leaders and teams on complex transformation challenges. He combines practical experience with a keen analytical lens to help organizations strengthen their structures, leadership, and ways of working.
