A core of full-time academic faculty, employed by AMS or shared with the University of Antwerp, form the backbone of the AMS faculty community. In addition, a large number of academics from other universities worldwide and practitioners from business life teach part-time at the School. With their specific expertise and professional experience they provide complete, practice-oriented and scientifically up-to-date management insights. Together they provide a top-quality learning experience for all our participants.

Antwerp Management School was recognized for its social impact and sustainability achievements when the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) results were launched today at the UN PRME Global Forum. We were one of 45 business schools from 21 countries worldwide that took part in the rating this year and achieved Level 4, making us a Transforming school within the PIR.

As of May 1st, five of the eight seats on the Board of Directors of the Antwerp Management School (AMS) have been allocated to women. In addition to Christien Van Vaerenberg (Port of Antwerp) and prof. dr. Silvia Lenaerts, Françoise Chombar (Melexis), Véronique Goossens (Belfius) and Anita Van Looveren (OMP) will also be joining the Belgian business school’s board of directors. Jan Remeysen (BASF) will take the torch from Alain Beyens as chairman.

AMS is the only Belgian business school in the top 100! The Financial Times has just published its Executive MBA Ranking 2021. Antwerp Management School already did well in previous years but has really surpassed itself this time: the AMS Executive MBA has moved up 10 places and is now number 45 worldwide. This makes AMS the number 1 in the Benelux. It is also the highest ranking ever achieved by a Belgian business school.
