Proactive and supportive approach
The prevalence of long-term illness due to burnout and stress among employees is on the rise. When they return to work, nearly half of them fear a relapse, a fear that is not unfounded as research indicates that almost a quarter of them do experience relapses.
A major contributing factor to this ongoing issue is the negative perception associated with resuming work, despite the potential for personal growth and development. By shedding light on the unspoken expectations of both employees and employers, we can create a supportive environment that fosters learning and recovery.
To effectively leverage this space for growth, a proactive and supportive approach is essential, entailing clear agreements and consistent follow-up. The challenge lies in implementing a structured and successful framework to achieve these goals.
With Re-Set, you will learn how to align the return to work seamlessly with the employee's unique drive and individual needs.

Based on scientific research
The Re-Set methodology builds on research by Antwerp Management School and was developed as part of an ESF project, together with Mensura and VESB (the Association of Certified Stress and Burnout Coaches).
In co-creation with the relevant actors, we have developed a concept that focuses on both individual and organizational growth.

Levers for a successful work resumption after burnout
Why is it that, despite all the focus on prevention and well-being, both privately and at work, more and more people are on long-term sick leave because of burnout? Isn’t it absurd that work can make you sick? Why do so many people get sick again, or why are so many people afraid of relapse when they return to work? How can you successfully return to work? These questions were the starting point of the research project “Reintegration after burnout: levers and success factors for a successful return to work”.
