Dr. Goran Milenković considers himself a Pracademic, someone who is both an active practicioner and an academic. As business consultant he draws on 25 years of international experience, having advised or collaborated with blue-chip companies such as DHL, Deutsche Post, Henkel, Stihl and the American Management Association. His most recent assignment was as Managing Director of Lekkerland Germany, a seven-billion-euro convenience wholesaler.
Goran’s professional interests are complemented by his academic engagements. He lectures and facilitates senior management workshops on commercial excellence, B2B sales, strategy implementation and turnaround management. His most recent explorations focus on the power of “directed“ executive education, where company-specific management development programs are purposefully designed to function as instruments of strategy implementation or organizational transformation.
As a strong believer in life-long learning and knowledge-sharing, Goran was part of the AMS team that introduced the first part-time Executive PhD in Management in Belgium. This program is aimed at mid-career executives wanting to deepen their understanding of a chosen management field and enrich their careers by educating others and engaging in practical research.
Goran has lived in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He speaks five languages and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Brunel University London, a MA in Economics from the American University in Beirut and a BA in Business Economics from Belgrade University. In addition, he is an alumnus of IMD in Lausanne, the Henley Business School, and the Grenoble Ecole de Management.
