Bas Van Gils is a passionate and experienced consultant, trainer and researcher. The focus of his work is to help his customers in realizing their digital dreams; to go from strategy to execution with disciplines such as digital business design, enterprise architecture, data management and change management.

He has worked in different countries (Netherlands, Germany, UK, USA, Canada and many others) and industries (Government, Finance, Telecom, and Retail) on many different types of projects (teaching, consulting, facilitation, research). His ambition is to balance practical work for his customers and helping the consultants of Strategy Alliance grow in their role. Next to that, he aims to continue to combine his work in the field via Strategy Alliance and his academic aspirations. Over the last few years, Bas has taught at various universities and have published both academic and professional articles and books on enterprise architecture and data management. His academic work is increasingly anchored in the scientific community of Antwerp Management School.
